Lauren Kosrow

Lauren Kosrow is the Digital Content and Open Access Librarian at College of DuPage, where she leads initiatives to expand the adoption, creation, and sustainability of open educational resources (OER) and affordable course materials. In this role, she serves as chair of the OER Steering Committee and administers the Faculty Support Grant program at COD which has saved students over 11 million dollars in textbook costs since 2019. Lauren is an active contributor to the open education community through state and national collaborations, including leadership with Illinois open education initiatives and service with CCCOER as co-chair of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Lauren has an EdD in Higher Education Leadership from National Louis University, a MSLIS from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BA in Secondary Education/History from DePaul University.
