Knowledge Dissemination Network

PHAROS is an international collaborative academic network, integrated by academics and professionals for the creation, collaboration, and diffusion of relevant open educational resources.

The PHAROS Network is an interdisciplinary collaborative project, comprised primarily of Latin American academics and professionals, whose objective is to establish a Knowledge Dissemination Network focused on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

This project was born during the COVID-19 lockdown as an initiative to promote and disseminate projects within the framework of the Open Education Movement in Latin America and the Caribbean. The PHAROS Network is supported by universities and educational institutions, as well as prestigious professionals. This allows for the sharing and promotion of reliable and validated information for the general population. The network is organized to generate and share initiatives, projects, Open Educational Resources (OER), publications, and other materials that are validated by an expert in charge of each SDG.

The PHAROS Network is built collaboratively by all and for all. The PHAROS Network is as large as our collaboration.
