
Ash Barber

Ash Barber is the Senior Coordinator, OER Collective at the Council of Australasian University Librarians (CAUL) and Academic Librarian at the University of South Australia. Throughout her career in university libraries, her work has had a keen focus on the promotion and integration of open educational practices and development of inclusive open educational resources.
An eternal collaborator, Ash is: Chair, Board of Directors, Open Education Conference; Co-Convenor, ASCILITE Australasian Open Educational Practice Special Interest Group (OEP SIG); and Co-Lead Editor, Open Education Down UndOER: Australasian Case Studies. Through a Libraries of the Australian Technology Network (LATN) Fellowship, she developed EmpoweredOER which provides practical tools for embedding equity in OER.
