La Red EuLES (Entornos uLearning en Educación Superior) se coordina y constituye en al año 2010 por los profesores de la Universidad de Zaragoza (España) Ana Allueva y José Luis Alejandre. El objetivo de facilitar -en el ámbito de la investigación educativa dentro del marco de la Enseñanza Superior- la interacción, la cooperación y la transferencia de conocimientos y tecnologías, así como el intercambio de experiencias y recursos entre sus miembros, en relación a los Entornos uLearning (ubiquous Learning) en el ámbito académico universitario y de la Educación Abierta. Entendemos este modelo en su sentido más amplio o aglutinador de las diferentes evoluciones del proceso de aprendizaje combinadas con las tendencias tecnológicas más actuales, abarcando desde los modelos bLearning (blended Learning), pasando por los eLearning, mLearning (mobile Learning) y la Web 2.0 hasta llegar al concepto de ubicuidad que permite llevar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje a cualquier momento, lugar y situación.
El propósito es desarrollar actividades de formación, intercambio, movilidad e interacción científica, con el objetivo de situar y mantener a sus miembros en posiciones relevantes y de referencia respecto al tema en el marco de la investigación educativa, aumentando así la visibilidad de las instituciones participantes y facilitando la incorporación progresiva a la Red de nuevos miembros.
Como marco de trabajo se propone una metodología cooperativa que permita que progresivamente surjan resultados de divulgación o publicaciones como artículos e informes, y nuevas actividades como acciones de coordinación o nuevos proyectos de innovación, nuevas Redes Temáticas relacionadas o acciones transversales en espacios internacionales e incluso desarrollos tecnológicos transferibles.
