Dr. Shinta Hernandez’s transformative leadership extends beyond her roles in community college academic support and leadership development. She advances equity and access through Open Education locally, nationally, and globally, through years of service to CCCOER and OEGlobal, co-founding and co-leading the UN Sustainable Development Goals Open Pedagogy Fellowship in North America, and providing executive direction to its Asia Chapter – with vision, compassion, and lasting impact.
Dr. Shinta Hernandez exemplifies the priorities of Open Education by advancing equity, inclusion, and global collaboration through her visionary leadership and community-centered practice.
